At only 1190g this carbon tubular wheel is the lightest in the Ksyrium family. It’s an ideal choice for the battle against gravity helping you tackle long climbs with less energy.
To create our lightest rim - only 320g despite their generous 23mm width - we used groundbreaking Finite Element Simulation software. This low rim weight equals low inertia for fast acceleration agile descents and instant deceleration.

Double-butted stainless steel spokes and the lightest hub ever produced by Mavic further contribute to the ultralight weight. But designing the best climbing wheel is about more than just weight. Isopulse lacing and 24 rear spokes produce better spoke tension balance and higher stability. That means plenty of lateral stiffness with just enough vertical compliance for excellent overall comfort and tire traction on rough roads.

The Ksyrium Pro Carbon SL T also delivers best-in-class braking performance. Our exclusive ITgMax technology uses heat treatment and surface preparation to reduce wet-weather stopping distance by 50% compared to the closest competitor.
